I’ll get to this very cool event in a minute but before I do, the REALLY big news about Mizner Park is that Lord & Taylor is coming there! In the old Robb & Stucky space! Every woman I know is thrilled—life has not been the same without L&T which left Town Center years ago. The store has not announced an opening date, so we have to be patient.
OK, so change gears: In the meantime, other Mizner Park news includes the second Wyland Living Green Fair next week, which promises to be great event for everyone. This two-day festival at Mizner is chock full of activities from music and games and a water maze to cooking demos, a “yogathon,” art and exhibitions (including a 50-foot mural painted by kids and environmental artist Wyland himself) and much, much more. Promoters describe the intent of the festival as a way to “demonstrate the value of living a greener, healthier and more environmentally-sustainable lifestyle.” Hours are Saturday, November 5 from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, November 6 from 12:00 to 5 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids with family packages $20 (peanuts under three are free), Call 888/302-5444 for more information or visit livinggreenfair.com.
