MIA Kitchen Hosts Food, Rum and Whiskey Dinner

Chef Blake Malatesta

The feast of food and drink pairings continues at MIA Kitchen & Bar, which is hosting a five-course dinner on June 26 with fresh catch from Florida’s top fishing town. There will be drink pairings featuring Afrohead Rum and Misunderstood Whiskey.

Executive Chef Blake Malatesta’s kitchen has a zero-waste policy, and his “dock to door” program means the sustainable seafood was caught within the past 24 hours. Some of the courses at the dinner include pink shrimp tartare, smoked Florida clams, braised tuna and more. Cost is $60 per person, excluding tax/gratuity, reservations required.
