This will be the second year for the Christmas-themed Miracle pop-up bar to appear at former-Cityplace now-Rosemary Square, starting on Nov. 25. The fun bar with inventive cocktails, great décor, and classic Christmas music will also feature some souped-up food from SoFla celeb Chef Mark Militello.

Militello is a James Beard Award-winning chef who most recently worked locally at Boca’s Prezzo opening, at Josie’s in Boynton, plus other venues. Back in the 1980s, he was one of the original “Mango Gang” in Miami, credited for revolutionizing the culinary scene here. He was busy this summer in the Hamptons at 75 Main.

He is extremely talented, as I can attest after eating a number of his delicious dishes, and this will put a Miracle experience over the top. The Miracle menu will feature “seasonal dishes with a focus on fresh, local fish, seafood and produce,” says Militello. Plus all those wonderful cocktails in the themed glassware, a continuing holiday tradition. I’m stopping in for some Jingle Balls Nog, myself.

Miracle pop-ups will also be at Death or Glory, 116 NE 6th Ave., Delray Beach (the original location), and a new spot at Java & Jam, 301 E. Las Olas Blvd., Fort Lauderdale (opening Nov. 26). More info here: https://www.rosemarysquarewpb.com/west-palm-beach-restaurants/miracleonrosemary/

Just a little advance warning about Garlic Fest

The 21st Annual Garlic Festival doesn’t want to be left out of your calendar this season, so they’re announcing the band lineups now for the Feb. 8-9th event! Oh, and pre-sale tickets are on sale now, too, of course.

The Expendables and The Wailers will be on stage, along with G. Love & Special Sauce. This is at John Prince Park in Lake Worth Beach, 4759 S. Congress Ave. It’s a beautiful venue, but remember to bring your own chairs for seating. There will be much to do, and much to eat – most of it made with garlic. That includes garlic ice cream. General admission tickets are $12.84 here: https://www.eventeny.com/events/ticket/?id=346
