Giving Santa a little helping hand this Recession Christmas is the three-course, prix fixe holiday menu available at the Boca Raton and West Palm BeachMorton’s.
Through Dec. 31 both local meateries are offering a special steak and seafood dinner for two for $109.99. First course choices are Caesar or house salads. Second course options include single-cut filet or choice of two of three seafood preparations (broiled scallops, shrimp Alexander or jumbo lump crabcake), plus one potato and one veggie dish to share. Dessert offerings are hot chocolate cake, Key lime pie and creme brulee.
If Santa is feeling flush, he can upgrade dinner with a double-cut filet, ribeye steak or single-cut New York strip for another $10 per person, and add a bottle of Beringer Pinot Noir or Sauvignon Blanc for an extra $45. Of course, if he does that, he might want to consider letting Rudolph do the driving.
