When you see a Boca mom toting around a thermal cup in the late afternoon, chances are there’s one of two things in it: wine…or coffee! (See how I put wine first? These are the moms I personally hang out with.)
The month of September has officially done me in. At this point, I wish I could hook myself up to a coffee IV. I guess that’s why Sept. 29 (at the end of this crazy busy month) was chosen as National Coffee Day—whoever invented it was just thinking about us moms who are totally drained from back-to-school, work, travel and early morning routines. Right?
Because my mornings consist of me begging my daughter to wake up, asking 10 times what she wants for breakfast, putting together the last-minute lunch that I refused to do the night before, and making a bed if I really want to feel like a superhero, it’s no wonder all I want is the perfect cup of iced coffee running through my veins to give me that extra jolt of happy (and sanity. This is a (holi)day I truly look forward to.
National Coffee Day might fall on a Saturday this year, but here’s where you can get that magical cup on Sept. 29 around Boca Raton… and at home.
