National Oyster Day Brings You Specials on the Half-shell

Chargrilled oysters at Cafe Centro

With National Oyster Day coming up on Aug. 5, you can depend on area restaurants to supply the specials. To drink with oysters: Sparkling wine or rose works, but my faves are viognier or vouvray. Those two white wines meld perfectly with oysters and leave you refreshed, too. Whatever you drink, enjoy the sea’s bounty!
