New Dishes and Brunches Galore

3030-ocean-cavatelli

With the season upon us comes rollouts of new tastes, and 3030 Ocean in Fort Lauderdale has a lineup of creations by Executive Chef Adrienne Grenier and Executive Sous Chef Brooke Mallory.

The new dishes include starters such as grilled oysters with tasso butter (oh yum!), littleneck clams with spicy chorizo broth to entrees such as creamy crab with piquillos pepper linguini, preserved lemon, charred fresnos and breadcrumbs, or pumpkin cavatelli (pictured) with roasted mushrooms, ricotta and pea tendrils. Or desserts by Pastry Chef Huma Nagi, such as New Orleans style beignets (yes, please!) with sarsaparilla pot de crème and fresh raspberries, or pumpkin whoppie pies paired with beer-battered apple slices, which are fried, dusted with cinnamon sugar and served with caramel and pumpkin ice cream. Oh boy. This is in addition to the oceanfront view there. And the new cocktails. (At 3030 Holiday Drive, in the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa, Fort Lauderdale; 954/765-3030.)
