-The first-ever standalone Express Men in the United States celebrated its grand opening at the Town Center at Boca Raton with GQ magazine on Dec. 3 (6000 Glades Road; 561/955-8546). The 4,000-square-foot shop will feature Express’ entire men’s collection of clothing and accessories.
-A huge fan of Moroccan decor, I’m especially excited about the opening of Morocco Rose in Delray’s Pineapple Grove (200 N.E. Second Ave., Suite 106; 561.450.7974; moroccorose.com). The furniture and accessories shop, which officially cut its ribbon on Dec. 22, features several rooms showcasing one-of-a kind tables crafted from indigenous woods, traditional poufs, stained glass and metal lanterns, decorative boxes, ceramics, pottery, hookahs and more.
“The colorful and exotic style of Morocco is the perfect complement to our South Florida lifestyle. and now, this timeless look is available locally,” says Morocco Rose owner Lucienne Appel, who visits exotic destinations to scout for merchandise. She describes the boutique—with its exotic tea bar, music and big screen TV airing international programs—as “a shopping experience for all the senses.”
