For more than a year, The Parched Pig served only local brews and wines with its snack menu, but recently has welcomed a cocktail menu to the mix.
One of the libations is Petunia Pig (pictured above) and we are lucky to have the recipe, too. Other cocktails include Dancing in the Dark (cold brew coffee, rum and more), plus some classics: French 75, Gin Fizz, Daiquiri, etc. Summer weekly specials include: Monday Night Raw, after 6 p.m. it’s a buck a shuck; Tuesday Wine Night, with half-priced bottles after 6 p.m., Wednesday Industry Night, with $2 oysters and drink specials after 9 p.m.
- 1½ ounces Plymouth gin
- ¾ ounces lemon juice
- ¾ ounces honey syrup
- ¼ ounces crème de violette
- 1 tablespoon Luxardo Maraschino
- 1 egg white
- 3 dashes Scrappys Lavender
To make: Dry shake/wet shake all ingredients. Pour, place lavender bud garnish.
