Ever wonder how Michelle Obama gets those rock solid arms? She’s a regular client at [solidcore] in Washington D.C., that’s how.
When we found out that [solidcore] was opening a location in Boca, we nearly freaked out. After being introduced to the workout in D.C. by Lindsey’s cousin, we always hoped it would come here. It’s one of those classes where you leave utterly exhausted thinking you automatically have a six pack waiting for you under that sweaty workout tank. Not always the case, unless you go regularly.
[solidcore] is opening two new locations this weekend in South Florida, one in Boca Raton and one in Miami—the grand opening for both locations is on Feb. 24! The Boca Raton location is in the same plaza as Flywheel Sports in Glades Plaza, so we’ve been driving by every week anticipating the opening of their new Boca studio for quite some time now.
With popular locations all over the country (Washington D.C. is the flagship studio, plus Ann Arbor, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Indiana, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, North Dakota, Philadelphia, and Virginia) people have been excited that [solidcore] is finally opening studios in Boca Raton and Miami.
As Flywheel enthusiasts, we frequent the Glades Plaza weekly and have been noticing the signs for [solidcore]. As “bikini season” approaches, we have been doing everything on our end to prepare for a season of fun in the sun, one without worrying about what we look like in a bikini. From our ICOONE Laser Technology treatments at Carmen Care, to our new workouts with [solidcore], we should be good to go.
So, what is [solidcore]? It is 50 minutes of high-intensity, low-impact, slow and controlled movements on their resistance-based [sweatlana]. Classes are intense and purposefully sequenced to work your muscles to failure. That may sound scary, but it’s the best way to tone. [solidcore] may resemble other Pilates classes, but we assure you, they are unlike any workout you’ve experienced before. Each move at [solidcore] has the foundation of a plank, squat or lunge, with a plethora of variations to help strengthen your entire body. There is a maximum of 14 machines in most studios, meaning each client will receive personalized attention and accountability from their coach throughout the class.
Results obviously vary per person, since every body is different. On average, if you begin attending class two to three days a week, you will start to see and feel changes by the end of week two and you will notice a big difference in your overall strength after 30 days. We’ve been attending classes for about two weeks now and already notice such a difference.
Not only do we notice a difference in the toning of our bodies, but we’re also feeling a lot stronger lately. Hello, defined arm muscles. With any workout, expect to be sore the first couple times you attend class. No pain, no gain…right? Click here to book your class.
If you can’t make it to the grand opening, but still want to purchase discounted classes, email their new studio manager, Julia at firstname.lastname@example.org. Plus, Mention LLScene and you’ll receive a new client two-pack for just $24. After reading this post, we hope you’re just as excited as we are for the opening of [solidcore] in South Florida. If you’re looking for an effective, upbeat workout that flies by, [solidcore] is one for you. Stay tuned for more information about the grand openings of the Boca and Miami studios on Feb. 24! Also, be on the lookout for two of our favorite instructors Adrienne and Sue on the schedule.
