Spa Palazzo Adds Natura Bissé line

We have been publishing the elegant Mizner’s Dream annual magazine for the Boca Raton Resort & Club for many years now, and I always look forward to it. For starters, I love going over to that hotel and seeing everyone on vacation or all dressed up waiting for dinner. I love the new Beach Club (I still call it new), and the Grand Piazza and Morimoto and the yachts docked out back. And now, the Resort is reimagining its fabulous Spa Palazzo with a whole new luxury line of Natura Bissé skincare products and treatments.

And I got to go to the launch party.

Natura Bissé was launched in 1979 in Barcelona and is an international must-have beauty line for people who routinely do things like algae wraps and magnetic rituals and glyco peels and all those other spa-speak treatments that translate to sheer pampering and deliciousness. This will be the first spa in the United States to feature Natura Bissé exclusively, according to Joachin Serra, one of the company’s owners. He described Natura Bissé as a “family passion” and several family members were at the opening, which also featured flamenco dancers, a giant paella station, Spanish wines and sangrias and special jamon Serrano and cheeses and anchovies. The party was arranged poolside at the spa, with sleek lounge seating and soft lights and strategically placed spa products in case you had a sudden urge to slather your neck with some wildly expensive Diamond Collection body lotion. It was elegant, warm and brilliantly themed around Spanish food and culture.

The out of town media and Spanish visitors were treated to a weekend of spa services, elegant meals and other Resort programs, but the Spa Palazzo was front and center. It reminded me that we have an incredible resource in our own backyard when it comes to luxury spas and wellness—and it just got a little bit more special.

I can already see a stay-cation in my future.
