Best Spring Markets in Palm Beach County

Parents, it’s time to clear the clutter—literally and figuratively!

Spring signifies a fresh start and there’s no better way to kick off a new beginning than clearing and cleaning your family home and re-stocking it with the fresh and new. Since the beginning of the year, my family and I have found a new tradition: hitting up our local farmer’s market on Saturdays.

From affordable fresh flowers to delicious food, here are my favorite spring markets to spruce up your home in Boca and beyond.

Boca Raton GreenMarket

Now in its 20th year, this marketplace in Royal Palm Place is open Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. from October to May. While my daughter is taking her acting class on the other side of the plaza, I’m able to shop from more than 45 vendors featuring fresh produce, plants, bakery items, fresh flowers, cheeses, fish and seafood, dog treats, soaps and lotions, desserts and more! My husband especially loves the tea vendor, and I dig Sommer’s Cupcakes.

This market is a fantastic resource if you’re planning on entertaining over the weekend. Need to make a cheese plate? No problem. How about some fresh fish dip? It’s right there. Plus, Boca’s great weather during these months makes it a joy to shop outside! Boca Raton GreenMarket, 500 Via De Palmas, Boca Raton; event info here

Grandview Preparatory School’s Spring Cleaning Flea Market

You’ll have to wait until April 7 if you want to shop all of the steals and deals at the second anual spring cleaning flea market. However, this is the market to also sign up for if you’re eager to make some spending money off of the household items you no longer want or need.

Grandview’s Association of Parents is encouraging families as well as local vendors to purchase a $25 table and showcase their wares for a good cause from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This public event will feature food trucks and entertainment and will benefit the school and Back to Basics. West Palm Beach GreenMarket

It might be a little hike from Boca Raton, but it’s worth it to shop at more than 80 vendors right on the waterfront while throwing back unlimited mimosas for $10. Yes, you read that correctly: 10 bucks. It’s the best deal in Palm Beach! Plus, parking is free in the Banyan Parking and Evernia city garages during market hours.

This GreenMarket is dog and stroller-friendly and also features live music, free activities for kids, plus plentiful green space and seating for a morning of fun and relaxation. And they have a special Spring Break Farmer’s Market coming up.
