Second Taste of Recovery to hit Old School Square
Chef Louie Bossi has taken South Florida by storm, with two namesake restaurants opened and a third planned for Delray Beach’s Atlantic Avenue (in the 32 East spot). His first Taste of Recovery benefit in 2017 was a hit, and he’s bringing it back on June 2, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Old School Square in Delray Beach. There will be music by Dave Scott and the Reckless Shots.
Look for more than 15 restaurants to participate in the charity event that benefits Crossroads Club, a Delray Beach organization that has provided space for 12-step meetings for decades. Cost is $40 per ticket and you can buy them here.
Cochon555 celebrates farming, returns to Miami
The South Florida stop of the national Cochon555 tour is slated for June 10 at 1 Hotel South Beach, with more than 100 chefs, farmers, sommeliers, distillers, brewers and barkeeps. It’s a massive event focusing on family farming and whole-pig cookery. There are 15 major city events per year.
