The highly anticipated new Delray Beach hotel The Ray opens today, and so do two of its on-property restaurants. Locals and visitors alike have been eagerly waiting for Ember Grill & Rosewater Rooftop’s doors to swing open. Created by Menin Development, the developers of the Delray Beach Market, and brought to life by Clique Hospitality (think Lionfish and Avalon), both concepts are bringing their own special charm to the Delray hospitality scene.
You can now step into Ember Grill’s tropical oasis, which is giving off major contemporary Palm Beach vibes. The ground floor restaurant, helmed by veteran chef Joe Zanelli, is serving up dishes inspired by global flavors including a savory peking duck, perfectly deboned branzino bursting with citrus notes, juicy steaks, and elevated salads and sides to complement your meal. Before you slip into a supple leather banquette, first stop by the bar for a creative cocktail, the perfect way to begin your culinary journey.
For sprawling views of the Pineapple Grove Arts District and downtown Delray, head upstairs to Rosewater Rooftop. The 22,000-square-foot lounge actually features both indoor and outdoor dining areas where you can enjoy a selection of international street food. The shareable plates, which range from grilled kebobs to sushi, pair perfectly with a poolside cocktail.
Cheers and welcome to Delray!
(Plus: stay tuned for Akira Back, the namesake Michelin chef-led restaurant that’s set to open this winter across from Ember Grill.)
