Two More Restaurants Coming to Delray

A stylish farm-to-table restaurant and sleek Asian-fusion eatery, both led by a chef whose credentials include stints with Heston Blumenthal and Wolfgang Puck, are getting ready to debut on Delray’s Atlantic Avenue Restaurant Row in the coming months.

Set to debut in December is Atlantic Ocean Club, a 5,000-square-foot restaurant on the ground floor of the building at Atlantic and the railroad tracks that will feature the contemporary American cuisine of chef Jamie DeRosa. The space will boast a crudo bar, Swarovski crystal chandeliers, teak walls and a state-of-the-art sound system, the better to make the conversion from restaurant to lounge come late night.

On DeRosa’s menu will be dishes like rabbit ragout with butternut squash gnocchi and pickled root vegetables and salt-crusted yellowtail en croute with mussels, cauliflower and onion confit. Products will be sourced locally when possible and from high-end producers around the country, from Humboldt Bay oysters to Mishima Farm Wagyu beef.

The second eatery, the pan-Asian fusion Buddha Sky Bar, is expected to open early next year in the rooftop space about Atlantic Ocean Club. More details on that when they become available.
