The wine dinners are starting up again, and we’re happy about that. Here are a couple to kick off your year:
- Elisabetta’s Ristorante, Bar & Pizzeria, 32 E. Atlantic Ave., Delray Beach; 561/560-6699; https://www.elisabettas.com: On Feb. 5, join Italian vintner Salvatore Ferragamo for a five-course meal with wines from his family winery, Il Borro. Starting at 7:30 p.m., the meal will feature dishes such as rotollo verde, dry aged ribeye, coppa Ferragamo and more. Cost is $135 per person.
- Carrabba’s Italian Grill, all locations: On Jan. 21, you can have a four-course dinner and wine pairing for $45 per person, which is a good deal. Starting at 6:30 p.m., the dishes will include mushroom brochette Carrabba, penne California, wood-grilled sirloin and a chocolate mousse with chocolate ganache dessert. Plus a wine with each course.
Florida Fresh Markets start Feb. 9 at Mizner Park
At the south end of Boca Raton’s Mizner Park, starting Feb. 9 on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., you’ll find Florida Fresh Markets that include vendors with produce, prepared food, jams/jellies, breads, honeys and more. Add another kind of green market to your calendar!
