Wine with the best
Today: Zoom with David Ramey of Ramey Wine Cellars, and the Virginia Philip Wine Team, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. You can listen, learn and discuss the Ramey Russian River Valley Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and the Sonoma Coast Syrah and Woolsey Road Vineyard Chardonnay with a wine pioneer. Ramey is known for his work with indigenous yeasts, sur lie aging and malolactic and barrel fermentation. Tickets are $10 to just join the Zoom class, or $195 to purchase the wines from Virginia Philip Wine Spirits & Academy, 340 Royal Poinciana Plaza, Palm Beach, and taste along with the class.
SOBEWFF free cocktail classes
The South Beach Wine & Food Festival, So Fla’s popular event, is digging into online experiences, and we are liking that! This is a 20-part virtual experience to help celebrate SOBEWFF’s upcoming 20th anniversary.
If you register for these classes, you’ll be sent a list of ingredients and utensils to have on hand for the session, recipe, and instructions for getting ready. You can attend some of these in person for a hand-on event, and that experience does require buying a ticket, with proceeds benefitting the SOBEWFF & FIU Chaplin School Hospitality Industry Relief Fund.
