Wine Wonderful: March Wine Pairing Dinners Around Town

Here’s a chance to taste some highly rated wines that you may not consider buying—because they range from $49.99 to $249.99 per bottle. GourmetPhile market is hosting a tasting of Roederer L’ermitage 2011, Louis Latour Corton Charlamagne 2015, Booker The Ripper Grenache 2016, Albert Bichot Vosne Romanee Les Malconsorts Premier Cru 2015 and Quilceda Creek Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 on March 22 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Food pairings will be included, too, and the cost is $100 per person.

Bistro 1001 hosts Chateau Ste. Michelle wine dinner

Executive Chef Sidney Semedo of West Palm Beach’s Bistro 1001 will prepare a wine pairing dinner on March 26, starting at 6:30 p.m. Included in the five-course dinner will be Chateau Ste. Michelle wines with each course. Dishes include roasted asparagus salad, swordfish, crispy duck breast and more. Cost is $68 per person; parking will be validated.

Ristorante Santucci, Cantina Collefrisio wines paired

Here’s a wine pairing dinner from Ristorante Santucci featuring five courses of dishes from Italy’s Abruzzo region with Cantina Collefrisio wines. On March 28, starting at 7 p.m., you’ll have dishes such as red prawns ceviche, orecchiette pasta with beans and pancetta, a lamb medallion wrap with bacon and gratin paired with a cave, red Montepulciano, and more. These dinners sell out all the time, and once you go, you’ll understand why. Cost is $90 per person; reservations required.
