Wine Tastings for Bastille Day and a Dinner With Secret Vines

Celebrate Bastille Day with wine tasting

Maurice Amiel, owner of The French Wine Merchant on Palm Beach, is celebrating Bastille Day on July 12 with one of his popular Friday tasting events. From 6 to 8 p.m., try a variety of French reds and whites and some sparklings, paired with French cheeses and bread. When you attend the tasting, you also receive 30 percent off the wines featured that evening. Tasting is $40 per person; find tickets here.

Secret Vines wine dinner featured at Le Bistro

A five-course dinner at Le Bistro in Lighthouse Point on July 19 will feature Secret Vines wines, a wine source that looks for little-known wines and spotlights them at dinners like this. At this dinner from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., you’ll taste a rosé, a chenin blanc, sauvignon blanc, pinot noir and a French blend of syrah, Grenache, Carignon and Minervois. Dishes include wild mushroom consommé, cured salmon with shrimp and tobiko wasabi caviar, filet mignon and more. Cost is $95.25 and tickets can be purchased here.
