Whether she’s at a trade show in New York or traveling the world meeting with emerging designers, Deborah Shuart always has the same mission – to discover unique collections that appeal to the discerning clientele at Deborah James, her high-end fashion boutiques.
“I’m obsessed about fashion and what I find for the store,” Deborah says. “Whenever I go to a trade show, I’m always one of the last people to leave because I want to see everything.”
One of the keys to the success of Deborah James Boutique – with locations in Royal Palm Place in Boca Raton and on Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale – is Deborah’s unique vision and her talent for knowing what her customers will want.
“Our customers come to us to create a style that is different from everyone else in Boca Raton,” says Deborah, whose move last year from Mizner Park to the larger location created space for a full shoe salon.
Customers also come for the expertise that the staff at Deborah James can offer.
“You can buy all the great merchandise in the world but if you don’t have the right people presenting your vision to the customer, you’re not meeting your potential,” Deborah says.
