Boca Helping Hands Expands to Delray Beach

Boca Helping Hands, the local nonprofit that provides food, medical and financial assistance to those in need, is increasing its coverage area by expanding into Delray. The new services will include emergency financial assistance and childcare funding for Delray Beach residents and the opening of its first food pantry in West Delray.

It has begun distributing food to west Delray Beach twice a week at the Bethel Evangelical Baptist Church on Tuesday and Thursdays. It will also be offering its financial assistance program for rent, utilities and childcare expenses to local residents and it hopes to also expand to Lantana and Lake Worth residents in the near future.
