Fashion Never Dies: Delray Beach Fashion Week Back with 007 Flair

It’s that time of year again!

Time for Delray Beach Fashion Week, and it’s especially special to us this year because we are co-hosting the “License to Swim” Fashion Show on Jan. 26 featuring Swim and Surf Wear with Jule Guaglardi, co-founder of Delray Beach Fashion Week.

The Sixth Annual Delray Beach Fashion Week event is Jan. 23 to 27 with the theme “Fashion Never Dies,” inspired by 007. The theme will be featured throughout the event through spectacular fashion, local designers, entertainment and beauty. It’s one of the city’s biggest weeks of the year because it’s all about supporting local boutiques and fashion designers.

Delray Beach Fashion Week was created by the Downtown Development Authority and the downtown merchants to bring a unique, all-encompassing opportunity that locals and visitors can experience first-hand in Delray Beach.

In addition to the Downtown Delray Beach merchants, local fashion designer participants include: Amanda Perna (House of Perna and Neon Bohemians), Glavidia Alexis (Glavidia: by Glavidia Alexis and Glavidia Hair Studios), Bill DeBilzan (The DeBilzan Gallery), Arianne Brown (Ramona La Rue), Lizzie Lambert (Haystacks) and Sam Delaney (Greenlines).

Events will take place throughout Downtown Delray Beach and two of the runway fashion shows are free to the public to stand and watch. From Thursday to Saturday there will be trunk shows and shopping and fashion events all around downtown. One hundred percent of ticket proceeds benefit the Achievement Centers for Children and Families.

As a part of our ongoing Delray Fashion Week coverage, we will be also going live with fashion designer, Amanda Perna of The House of Perna and the SoFlo Moms on the Go, Dana Peller of Pellerini, and Heather McMechan of Local Mom Scoop on Jan. 18. Make sure to tune in for exclusive insider information about Delray Fashion Week!
