Il Mulino New York has partnered with esteemed Italian winery Ruffino to launch an exclusive pre-fixe menu this month. The collaboration between Il Mulino’s chef Michele Mazza and the winery’s sommeliers highlights both the simplicity and intricacies of Italian cuisine. Guests can look forward to a four-course meal paired with a special selection of Ruffino’s best wines.

Start with Roman-style artichokes in a white wine sauce and topped with bacon paired with Ruffino’s refreshing Orvieto Classico. Once your palate is warmed up, the pasta course is ravioli stuffed with shiitake mushrooms and Campari tomato paired with the fruit-forward Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Ducale Oro. The main course is an 8 oz. filet in a peppercorn sauce and mini roasted potatoes with Modus IGT, a full-bodied Super Tuscan. The experience ends with a delightful torta della nonna so make sure to save some room. It’s paired with a lightly sweet Moscato d’Asti, making it an exceptional ending to the meal.

The menu, priced at $125 (includes coffee or tea), will be available at both its Boca Raton and Sunny Isles locations for lunch and dinner through the end of the month.
