SpoonFed Now Dishing Eats in Delray

Pop-Up is now SpoonFed Neighborhood Eatery (217 E. Atlantic Ave., 561/450-7557).

Yes, the four-month experiment that rose from the (figurative) ashes of the clueless Atlantic Ocean Club under the guidance of local star chef Glen Manfra is now a permanent restaurant with Manfra firmly at the helm (and stove).

The stark, nightclubby interior of the old Club has been warmed up with woods and other materials, while the menu features Manfra’s signature Italian with a World Twist dishes that proved popular at Pop-Up.

What that means on your plate is a large selection of house-made pastas, pizzas from a wood-fired oven, a raw bar and trio of daily ceviches. More specifically, look for everything from Sicilian tuna tartare, rigatoni with Sunday gravy and veal chop Milanese two ways to Caribbean chowder, lobster ravioli with asparagus and grilled swordfish with spicy mango-cilantro salsa.

Prices are about par for the Atlantic Avenue course, with pastas ranging from $12.95 to $31.95 and entrees from $17.95 to $33.95.
