Several months back, my cousin invited my boyfriend and I to a trivia night at a sports bar with a couple of her friends. I had never been. It was so much fun with an entire restaurant full of people participating and a neat departure from a board game. Plus, you could win prizes!
Afterward, I told my friends about it, and they wanted to do trivia too. But the particular place I went to with my cousin was a bit far out of our way. Several times when we couldn’t figure out what to do, we tried searching the Web for a closer restaurant that offered trivia, but couldn’t easily find one, let alone find a comprehensive listing (much better luck with karaoke). I’ve found myself craving the restaurant trivia experience again. So, I decided for my sake and for your sake to put together this list of South Florida trivia nights.
All of these listings are for in-restaurant trivia (not computerized national games) and offer prizes if you win. Although I called each place to verify days and times, the offerings are of course subject to change, so call ahead. Also, note that, as I was warned by a few places, times tend to vary during football season. A last word of advice: Arrive on time, as trivia nights usually consist of a single game that you cannot get in late on.
