The holiday, which originated as Armistice Day in 1919, has been observed as Veterans Day on November 11th each year since 1978. The day provides an opportunity to give thanks in a number of ways to those who have served our country in the armed forces. These are just some of the great events to observe the holiday and special deals for veterans and active duty military personnel in and around Boca Raton.
