Terra Fiamma (“earth” and “flame”) is expected to debut the first week of April, a joining of the talents and experience of Rosano, whose Cucina Mio is one of West Delray’s most popular restaurants, and Tom Corning, a long-time restaurant and bar owner whose two establishments were devastated in superstorm Sandy.
Their new eatery will seat 150 indoors and another 40 on a trellised outdoor patio. Indoors will feature earth and flame colors—red, orange, copper—along with twin pizza ovens (one gas, the other wood-burning), an indoor-outdoor bar and private dining room for more than two dozen.
Terra Fiamma’s menu will reprise favorites from Corning’s New York restaurants as well as Cucina Mio, which Rosano will close in April. Look for all the classic piccatas, marsalas and parmigianas, along with traditional and artisan pizzas and dishes like Cucina’s cavatappi funghi and Corning’s chicken Picasso.
