Who Will Win the West Boca Game of Zones?

In the Game of Zones, you win or you die.

Wait…the Game of Thrones motto might be a bit too extreme for the new 15,000-square-foot family indoor entertainment center opening in West Boca in late July. How about you win…or you cry? That sounds about right, at least when it comes to my competitive (yet emotional) daughter.

The family-owned entertainment center plans to serve children and adults of all ages and will include exciting activities such as modern bowling with scoring and lane dining, Spin Zone bumper cars, a state-of-the-art laser tag arena, video arcade games, redemption prizing, and dining throughout. It seems like they’ve been strategic about choosing their attractions as well, being careful not to overlap with East Boca’s Boomers—the exception being the Spin Zone bumper cars.

Game of Zones is also counting on being a venue for unique adult or corporate gatherings, social events and birthday parties, of course. That means a bar serving beer and wine for the 21-and-up crowd. Forget prizes because that’s the real win in my mom book!

The plaza where Game of Zones will be located (11411 West Palmetto Park Road) is actually becoming quite the destination for Boca families. Popular indoor playground for kids, La-La Land, is located in the space next door. I think it’s safe to say that most parents have attended at least a birthday party there by this point. But the winning formula of hot and rainy temperatures plus cold a/c isn’t going away anytime soon and Game of Zones plans to take advantage.
