A new coronavirus testing site is set to open in South Palm Beach County, the Palm Beach Post reports.

The new testing center is set to open on Tuesday in West Delray Beach, south of Linton Boulevard at the South County Civic Center on Jog Road. It will also be a drive-thru testing site. It is currently unclear how many tests will be available at the Delray location.

As with the West Palm Beach testing center, prospective patients will be required to go through a phone screening before scheduling an appointment to be tested. Callers will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms such as fever and cough. The screening hotline is set to reopen on Friday, April 3.

For phone screenings, call 561/642-1000.

The West Delray coronavirus testing site will be the second in Palm Beach County following the establishment of a site in West Palm Beach on March 31. That drive-thru testing site is in operation at the FITTEAM Ballpark of the Palm Beaches, and is currently booked through the end of the week.

Currently, there are 117 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Boca Raton, 630 in Palm Beach County, and 8,010 in the State of Florida.
