Delray Beach’s famed 100-foot Christmas Tree is in the running for the “Best Holiday Tree Display” in USA TODAY 10BEST Readers’ Choice Awards.
A Delray Beach holiday staple for more than 30 years, the tree had humble beginnings as a then-50-foot display to attract visitors to the city’s downtown in 1993. The tree was replaced with one double in size two years later to coincide with the city’s centennial, and now we can’t imagine the holidays in Delray without it.

On Dec. 1, don’t miss the city’s kick-off to the holiday season with the 100-Foot Christmas Tree Lighting and Yuletide Festival at Old School Square. Click here for more details.
Delray Beach is no stranger to the USA TODAY 10BEST Readers’ Choice Awards, having been named “Best Beach in Florida” for three years in a row.
