Deals at Delray’s New BurgerFi, and a New Restaurant at Sundy House

New BurgerFi, plus some deals

A new BurgerFi store opened last month at 660 Linton Blvd, Delray Beach, joining the others in the city at Ocean Boulevard, Gateway Boulevard and West Atlantic Avenue.

It’s another location that will be part of the offer for National French Fry Day (one of my favorite holidays!) on July 13. On that day, BurgerFi is offering half-price double cheeseburgers with any in-store purchase of a regular sized French fry order. And then during July 14-17, it’s offering a free regular-sized fry order with any purchase, when you order on the BurgerFi app.

Chef James Strine

There’s a new look, a new menu and a new face in the kitchen at Sundy House in Delray Beach. Chef James Strine has joined the popular venue and created a menu for Taru, the new restaurant.

The restaurant opened late last month, and dinner features baked cannelloni, jerk ribs, popcorn shrimp, roasted chicken, Florida bouillabaisse, swordfish and more. The street corn souffle sounds mighty good as one of the salad options!

Strine was most recently the chef at The Trophy Room in Wellington, and also had stints at Palm Beach’s Hai House, Grato, Buccan, among others. He is known for his excellent menus with creative dishes.
