On June 6, HomeSafe supporters hit the links to raise funds for South Florida’s victims of child abuse and domestic violence. The tournament began after a breakfast sponsored by the Harcourt M. & Virginia W. Sylvester Foundation, with men’s, women’s, and mixed teams competing. After a luncheon sponsored by Paradise Bank and a silent auction, the winners were announced. The winning women’s foursome included Betsy Pfeiffer, Patty Larkin, Renee Callahan and Jayne Malfitano; the winning men’s threesome included Larry Melby, Tom Clarke and Greg Sawyer; and the winning mixed team included Paul Mayer, Sania Khan, Bob Ritter and Jim Durning. The event raised $30,000 for HomeSafe to aid in their mission of protecting South Florida’s most vulnerable residents.
