Mardi Gras, Women’s Day Celebrated in SoFla

Mardi Gras at the Balcony

Mardi Gras rolls in at the Balcony

From March 5 to 10, there will be special drinks and food at the Balcony, a New Orleans-inspired venue on Las Olas in Fort Lauderdale. Count on $3 Abita beers; $5 hurricanes with souvenir cup; $5 jambalaya, gumbo and beignets; and $8 shrimp or oyster po’boys.

That’s in addition to the Fat Tuesday party on March 5, the Kings & Queens party on March 8 and the Balcony Krewe party on March 9—with lots of music, entertainers and more food and drinks. Plus Mardi Gras beads to wear, of course.
