Memorial Day Celebrations Around Town

Enjoy the long weekend at these spots around Palm Beach County.

Boca Raton

The City of Boca Raton is honoring our fallen armed service members on Memorial Day with a ceremony at Boca Raton Cemetery (451 S.W. Fourth Ave.) from 9-10 a.m. The event will include speeches from local veterans and is free and open to the public with limited seating available. Later, the city will host a free concert at Mizner Park Amphitheater from 7-9 p.m. featuring a performance by The American Sirens, with its trio of frontwomen’s dazzling vocals inspired by the flapper era and the golden age of Hollywood. The concert is free, with refreshments available for purchase and chairs available to rent for $5 (active military, veterans, and Gold Star Families can rent for free). For more information, visit

Meat Market

Meat Market is hosting Memorial Weekend brunches from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday through Monday. Enjoy endless mimosas, live DJ music, and dishes like the savory short rib and eggs, cinnamon rolls with rum caramel and candied pecans, and more. Hang around after 3 p.m. for happy hour, which runs until 6 p.m.

Max’s Grille

Max’s Grille will also be hosting brunches this weekend, with discounts on brunch cocktails from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. On Monday, veterans and active military personnel will receive 20% off their bill. The restaurant will also host live DJ music tonight and tomorrow starting at 8:30 p.m.

Over at Rocco’s Tacos, the Mexican restaurant will be offering a 50% discount for active military service members and veterans upon presentation of a military ID.

Delray Beach

Delray’s annual Memorial Day Weekend Craft Festival returns for its 26th year, kicking off Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Delray Beach Tennis Center. The festival will wrap at 5 p.m. on Saturday and return on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free and guests can peruse an open-air market of crafts from local vendors and creators.

Deck 84

Celebrate the long weekend on the Delray waterfront at Deck 84. The live music kicks off at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, with performances by Adam Jason Trio, Uproot Hootenanny, and Big City Trio. Then, on Memorial Day, Deck 84 is honoring our active military service personnel and veterans with 20% discounts all day.

Throw Social

Throw Social’s Memorial Day Weekend Bash kicks off Saturday with live music, jumbo backyard games, and free axe throwing for for veterans and active duty service members. Guests can also enjoy discounted beer bucket and cocktail specials, as well as a complimentary late night hot dogs, grilled and ready to grab on your way out the door. La Playa at Hilton West Palm Beach is celebrating Memorial Day Weekend with back-to-back-to-back pool parties on May 25–27. Kick back poolside with a libation from the Patron Cocktail Tree, live DJ music, and BBQ bites including baby back ribs and smoked brisket sandwiches.

The famous downtown West Palm watering hole is hosting a jam-packed event series to celebrate the long weekend. Guests can enjoy live performances from bands and DJs, as well as a specialty BBQ menu and discount cocktails. The festivities kick off tomorrow, with live music starting at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

PGA National Resort

The Staple at PGA National Resort

The PGA National Resort is hosting its inaugural hole-in-one challenge on Sunday, where golfers can take their shot at sinking a hole-in-one on the resort’s Staple Course for a chance to win $50,000. The event is open to members and non-members alike, and tickets are $85 per person.
