Memorial Day Celebrations Around Town

Enjoy the long weekend at these spots around Palm Beach County.

Boca Raton

The City of Boca Raton is honoring our fallen armed service members on Memorial Day with a ceremony at Boca Raton Cemetery (451 S.W. Fourth Ave.) from 9-10 a.m. The event will include speeches from local veterans and is free and open to the public with limited seating available. Later, the city will host a free concert at Mizner Park Amphitheater from 7-9 p.m. featuring a performance by The American Sirens, with its trio of frontwomen’s dazzling vocals inspired by the flapper era and the golden age of Hollywood. The concert is free, with refreshments available for purchase and chairs available to rent for $5 (active military, veterans, and Gold Star Families can rent for free). Meat Market is hosting Memorial Weekend brunches from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday through Monday. Delray Beach

Delray’s annual Memorial Day Weekend Craft Festival returns for its 26th year, kicking off Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Delray Beach Tennis Center.
