For a few years now, this has not been your mother’s vacay. Our landmark Boca Raton Resort & Club has been redefining the getaway for a few years now, infusing the luxury hotel stay with fine modern art, surfing lessons, visiting chefs and vintners, yoga on the croquet lawn and much, much more. A day at the beach becomes the pampered Sea Level, otherwise reasonable people are flyboarding 20 feet above the Intracoastal and everyone is playing bocce between cocktail rounds at the Monkey Bar.
But that’s not all that’s happening at the Monkey Bar. We hear there are a few “takeovers” coming up by guest celeb mixologists that provide yet another reason to snap up a sleepover (or two) at The Resort.
The weekends of Jan. 25-26, Feb. 1-2 and Feb. 15-17 at the Monkey Bar will belong to three visiting rock star barmen (and women): Julie Reiner of Brooklyn’s Clover Club (try the famoso Clover Club cocktail), Jason Stritch from Manresa in Los Gatos, CA. and Pamela Wiznitzer from the Henry at Life Hotel (a very hot restaurant and bar in the old Life magazine building in Manhattan).
Prepare to be dazzled by bartender magic. Have a snack. Get a room. Have fun. This is the New Resort and it’s got your name all over it.
But save a seat for me.
