Say what you will about the summer in South Florida not being “busy season,” but we will have to disagree with you. Sure it isn’t “season,” but new businesses are popping up everywhere, which is why today’s post is dedicated to some of our favorite lifestyle, fitness and beauty businesses taking over in the area.
If you’re looking for a health-boost or a “quick fix,” IVY Remedy is able to help. Located in Downtown Delray Beach, IVY Remedy is the hottest new IV therapy lounge specializing in IV Drips and IV Booster Shots. Restore essential vitamins and nutrients in your body for a quick recovery using their customized IV hydration treatment. They offer vitamin drips that help boost energy, improve immune functions, reduce stress, improve mood, and more.
We have personally felt the benefits of going to IVY Remedy and have never felt better—Lindsey goes in at least once a week for a Vitamin B-12 shot and it keeps her going, especially in the summer heat. Not only is it good for your health, but the ambiance and staff are inviting and friendly. We give this new business 5 stars!

The BoHa Yoga Studio
We are all about that “ommm life,” and BoHa Yoga Studio has all the “ommm” you could possibly need or want. We’ll admit it, we aren’t the biggest yogis out there—it takes a lot for us to turn our mind and body completely off, but we were so pleased with the classes at The BoHa Yoga studio because they offered us the perfect balance. As novice yogis, we were also happy to see that they offer hour-long yoga classes, as opposed to the 90-minute yoga classes we are used to. One hour of stretching, working out and calming your mind, PERFECT!
Their yoga practice is designed to activate and renew your energy through conscious movement and breathing. It tones and elongates the body, generating strength, balance, and flexibility, while promoting a clear and present mind. As you know, we’re all about ambiance and The BoHa Yoga Studio is VERY Insta-worthy.

There’s nothing better than when a business comes to South Florida and brings something different than what everyone else is doing, and Rec Room in Fort Lauderdale does just that. Their motto: An Old School Flavor With a New School Twist, classic-modernism at its finest.
Located in the heart of the up-and-coming Mass District area of Flagler Village, this exclusive retro boutique sports bar, lounge, and game room features two Duck Pin bowling lanes along with other favorite bar games. Who doesn’t love bar games? Their game room features two Duck Pin bowling lanes along with other favorite bar games like darts, pool, indoor shuffleboard, air hockey, pinball, and a punching bag machine. Needless to say, we’re big fans and somewhat regulars at Rec Room now.

While you venture into Broward County and the Fort Lauderdale area, don’t forget to stop by Poema Swim’s new storefront. Poema Swim’s designer, Morea Holland, is a Boca Raton native with a true eye for what women of all ages want in swimwear. All pieces are handmade locally with the softest quality fabric coming from Italy and Spain. Poema is a fashion-forward, beach-chic swimwear brand inspired by different beaches and cultures around the world. Designed for the classy-cool babes who want to stand out and feel good, the swimwear is known for its comfortable and flattering fit, as well as the softness of their fabric. One of the best parts about Poema Swim is that Morea and her mother came up with the idea while vacationing in Santorini. We have at least four swimsuits from Poema Swim in our closets because of how great the quality, fit and style is.
