On Saturday night, Queen and Adam Lambert took the stage at BB&T Center for thousands of fans who filled up the venue for the sold-out event in Fort Lauderdale.

The event was an energetic one, with frontman Adam Lambert paying respect to the late Freddie Mercury, from his edgy facial expressions to an epic voice. The night began with a dramatic entrance by guitarist Brian May, plus pure rock and roll drumming from drummer Roger Taylor. The band’s energy merged well with Lambert, who proudly sang Queen tunes such as the thumping “Radio Ga Ga,” and finishing the evening with the classic sing-along-worthy “Bohemian Rhapsody” (and an impressive encore performance).

The sets were just as impressive, with colorful light displays and at one point Lambert spinning around on a motorcycle on stage. The show’s energy never wavered and fans were left satisfied by seeing their classic rock heroes in the flesh. It was definitely a concert worth experiencing live with an audience that sang-along, danced-along and left smiling at the end of the evening.

Proof that rock and roll is still alive and kicking!
