Sardinia Enoteca, a favorite among Delray foodies, announced via email and social media that it’s closing up shop after two years.
On Facebook, the owners announced that they were permanently closed, and the same message was sent to guests on their email list. Followers were shocked and expressed woe over losing a restaurant that served “authentic Italian.”
Boca magazine food critic, Lynn Kalber, praised the restaurant’s light goat cheese ravioli (“lip-smacking”) and arancini (“spices pop with flavor”).
“Loyal diners have found Sardinian sweetness here,” she wrote.
Luckily, the restaurant also has a location in Miami Beach’s Sunset Harbour neighborhood, and it is participating in Miami Spice Month. The restaurant serves brunch, lunch and dinner.
