Summer Happy Hour Specials in Delray

The words “summer” and “happy” aren’t usually found together during the Florida sweatbox season, but a few Delray watering holes are helping locals beat the heat with happy hour specials all season long. Check out this list of spots to sip and save during the sweltering Florida summer.

Head to west Delray and check out Florida’s largest food hall and sample from its 27 unique vendors for happy hour all day Monday through Friday. Drink specials include $3 select beers, $4 spirits, $7 market wines, $7 speciality cocktails and Frosé, and $14 buckets along with $1 oysters and $2 mini burgers.

Come in on Martini Monday and enjoy $6 Grey Goose or Bombay Dry Martinis all day at Central Bar and The Mezz. Both spots are also offering Bottomless On-Tap Rosé for $18 all day every Wednesday. Not in the mood for martinis or wine? Check out Delray Craft for $5 drafts all day Monday through Friday.

Ember Grill

Located inside The Ray Hotel, one of Delray’s premiere boutique hotel destinations, Ember Grill is a crown jewel in the Pineapple Grove neighborhood’s dining scene. Known for its inspired take on classic American dishes and craft cocktails, Ember Grill is offering daily happy hour specials from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., including half priced wine, beer and specialty cocktails as well as $7 bites like Charred Buffalo Cauliflower, Snapper Ceviche and Mac & Cheese Sticks.

Rosewater Rooftop

Enjoy happy hour with a view at Rosewater Rooftop, at the top of The Ray Hotel. Dubbed by locals as Delray’s “social playground,” Rosewater hosts “Golden Hour” Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., with deals like half priced drinks and $9 bites including Lollipop Chicken Wings, Bang Bang Shrimp, Blistered Shishito Peppers and more.

Take a post-work retreat to the tropical oasis-themed Lionfish and enjoy fresh and sustainably sourced seafood and craft cocktails. Happy hour is Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. and continues through the weekend from 5 p.m. – 6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

Specials include $7 small bites like Spicy Crispy Shrimp, Spicy Tuna, Spicy Salmon and Baked Crab; $9 appetizer selections of the Tijuana Style Caesar, ½ dozen oysters and No Way! Vegan Sliders; $15 appetizers like Japanese Tomato Caprese, Crispy Rock Shrimp and a dozen East Coast oysters. Pair your light bites with $9 wines by the glass, $9 cocktails and $5 draft beers.
