Swimply, Pool Sharing Service, Launches in Florida

No more hopping the fence to break into your neighbor’s pool; now, there’s Swimply.

A new swimming pool sharing service in the US, Canada and Australia, Swimply allows people to book pools by the hour. After a successful pilot program last summer, it’s available in 20 states, including right here in Florida.

The prices vary according to the owner, but the average price is $45 an hour. Owners list the amenities such as hot tub, cabanas, tiki bars, lounge chairs and other extras. Swimply requires that each pool is inspected for safety, and owners can opt for pool cleanings and maintenance between customers.

A sort of Airbnb for swimming pools, if you will.

Check out the pools and their rates at swimply.com. Unfortunately most of the swimming pools listed seem to be in Miami, but there are a few in Palm Beach and Broward County.

So pool owners, get to it and list your pool.
