Bryan Hunt
Executive Director, Peter Blum Family YMCA of Boca Raton

From an enthusiastic 7-year-old camper at his hometown YMCA in New York to executive director of the Peter Blum Family YMCA of Boca Raton, Bryan Hunt has dedicated his career to strengthening the communities he serves. Now in his seventeenth year with the organization, Hunt oversees operations, volunteer engagement, and programs that create lasting opportunities for individuals and families of all ages.

“Becoming an executive director was never my intended career path,” Hunt reflects. “I simply came to work each day, enjoyed what I was doing, and made sure I left knowing I had made a positive impact.”

That philosophy continues to shape the Peter Blum Family YMCA, where accessibility and meaningful connections remain at the heart of every program. Whether supporting seniors seeking companionship, cancer survivors rebuilding strength, preschoolers discovering new skills, individuals with special needs, or teenagers developing into the next generation of YMCA leaders, the organization is committed to enriching lives at every stage.

The YMCA also provides families with valuable support, offering parents a trusted place where their children can learn, play, and thrive in a safe, welcoming environment.

“Our YMCA is like a finely spun web,” says Hunt. “Every connection matters, and together they create a true community within a community.”

Under Hunt’s leadership, the Peter Blum Family YMCA continues to fulfill its mission of ensuring everyone has the opportunity to belong, grow, and make meaningful connections that last a lifetime.
