If beer rocks your world, World of Beer (101 N. Clematis St., 561/833-3325) is your place.
West Palm’s latest addition to its already bustling dining and drinking line-up debuted last week, taking a prime location across from the fountain area in the city’s downtown.
As you could probably guess from its name, World of Beer offers a world of beer, not to mention beers from around the world. More than 500 bottles, to be exact, plus another 40 brewskis on tap. Among the latter, whose composition changes regularly, are Black Sheep Monty Python’s Holy Grail, Belgium’s Chimay Tripel, Boulder Hazed and Infused, and Florida’s own Holy Mackerel Panic Attack.
WoB doesn’t serve food, but if you want a little grub to go with your pub, you can order dishes from any of several nearby restaurants, who will deliver your order door to door. Among them: Pistache, Gratify and the also new Duffy’s.
The West Palm WoB is the second to open in South Florida within the past few months, joining its predecessor in Coconut Creek. If you want to cry in your beer, this is the place to do it.
