Spring is here, even if it didn’t much feel like it earlier this week. And that means a new seasonal menu for Brio Tuscan Grilles in Boca Raton (5050 Town Center Circle, 561/392-3777) and Palm Beach Gardens (3101 PGA Blvd., 561/622-0491).
From now through late September additions to the lunch and dinner menus include chilled tomato caprese bruchetta, Tuscan stuffed peppers (with sausage polenta and two cheeses, topped with more cheese and pesto breadcrumbs) and portobello ravioli in champagne-brown butter sauce. Dinner only gets swordfish grigliata and a mixed grill of chicken, beef and shrimp. For brunch there’s a chicken avocado open-face omelet.
With happy hours-bar bites being ever more important in the restaurant biz, the weekday “Tuscan Tasters” menu gets bulked up a bit too. Look for “Tuscan lettuce wraps,” four-cheese pizzetta and crispy shrimp picante (see photo). Also check out the new $5 wine and cocktail specials.
