New U.S. Customs Facility Opens at Boca Airport

Last week marked a milestone for Boca Raton as the new US Customs facility at the Boca airport officially opened. Dignitaries were on hand for the ribbon cutting and a reception was held at Privaria Private Aviation hangar. Attendees enjoyed light international fare and live steel drum music, and a series of speakers.

But Airport Executive Director Clara Bennett summed it up best:

“Throughout its history, the airport has served as a catalyst for economic growth, playing a pivotal role in the development of Boca Raton as a major hub for corporate headquarters and international commerce. Beyond the economic impact, the new facility will ultimately be about connecting the Boca Raton Airport to the rest of the world.”

Or, we knew we were the center of the world; now everyone else will too.
